Trained in Counseling Psychology, Rintaro brings unique narrative to his motion and still pictures.

Rintaro picked (or rather, borrowed) his first camera - the Canon 350D - while he was working for his master’s degree in counseling psychology. As with anything which piques his interest, his fascination with photography grew rapidly. So much so that he decided to get a camera of his own upon returning to Japan from his 7-year stint in the U.S.

It all started with street photography. Rintaro was captivated by the transitory nature of streets, in that no two same scenes will ever be created before one’s eyes.

He soon was then asked by friends to shoot for their CD album covers and weddings - the latter of which grew into a year of working as a wedding photographer in Indonesia.

Armed with plethora of knowledge and experience, Rintaro has since expanded his creativity into the motion picture arena.
